Hive Inspection Time!

It’s that time of the beekeeping season to make sure the hives have enough room & they have a laying queen.  After we split the WISER Center bee hives (making nucs) in late April, we reduced the population substantially.  We will now be expanding the hives to make room for the colonies to grow & to hopefully reduce the likelihood that they swarm!

The day should be interesting & take about 2hrs.
